Healthy Holidays Leeds!

Amazing holiday clubs for school aged children in Leeds.

Running over the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays, our clubs can be found across Leeds, and they provide delicious food and incredible activities for free. You need to be eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals to access Healthy Holidays.

You'll first need to create an account, then you can log in, register each of your children, and once we've confirmed their eligibility you can browse and book a fantastic holiday club for your child. You can manage the sessions you are booked onto at any time by logging onto your account.

Easter Healthy Holidays Clubs

Our Easter providers can be viewed here and you can see where and when they are running, and whether they are open to all eligible children or only children in a specific area/ school. Once you've found a provider, please click on 'events' on this Healthy Holidays site, find your chosen club in the 'provider' drop down box, click 'apply filter', then book all of the dates that you would like your child to attend.

Eligibility

If your child is eligible for income-related free school meals, and is between reception and year 11, then you can register and book onto the Healthy Holidays scheme. There is no cost to parents/ carers for your child to attend, however please ensure that you cancel your place if you can no longer go to ensure that another child can attend.

There are children and young people who are not eligible for income-related free school meals who can attend the programme, they'll need to meet the qualifying criteria. More information can be found in the FAQs section.

Free school meals can be claimed by parents/carers receiving one of the qualifying benefits listed on the Gov.uk website. You can check your eligibility and how to apply for free school meals on the gov.uk website.

Where are the Healthy Holidays Sessions?

There are over 80 clubs across Leeds, run by schools, community organisations and council provisions. Some of these schemes are only open to children & young people who already attend the school or group, or children who are invited by the organisation. For these events, they will say 'only open to children from .... ' in the event description.

The closest one to you can be found on our interactive map below:

Cancellation/Non-Attendance

We want to offer as many opportunities as possible to families who are able to attend these holiday clubs. For this reason, we will be implementing a non attendance/cancellation policy.

If your child records three failures to attend or late cancellations without contacting us, the credits for these bookings will be lost and any remaining bookings will be cancelled.

You will be able to book activities with your remaining credits, but you will only be able to be access the remaining activities with spaces. Please ensure you provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation. You can cancel a booking by navigating to "my bookings" or emailing HHbooking@leeds.gov.uk

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation, failure to do so may result in all bookings being cancelled and removal of access to the Healthy Holidays programme.
